We welcome all sorts of volunteers, all the time!
There are many ways to join our community, and we want you to pick the option that works best for you!
Currently our greatest volunteer needs are in these areas:
Casting Bread Cafe: cook teams of (ideally) 2-4 people cook & serve one lunch per month to hungry folks in our cafe. Meal ingredients can be provided by volunteers or by us!

Casting Bread Market: Assist clients with check-in, help them shop and walk their groceries to their vehicles.
​
Food Pickups: Saturday mornings between 10-11am volunteers pickup large loads of food from Food Lion in Blowing Rock and deliver it to the pantry. All food is weighed and properly put away.
