There are many ways to join our community, and we want you to pick the option that works best for you.

Currently our greatest volunteer needs are in these areas:
Casting Bread Canteen: cook teams of (ideally) 2-4 people to prepare & serve one lunch per month to hungry folks from our mobile Canteen. Meal ingredients or prepared meals will be provided or volunteers are welcome to cook from scratch!
Casting Bread Market: Assist clients with check-in, help them shop and walk their groceries to their vehicles.
Food Pickups: Saturday mornings between 10-11am volunteers pickup large loads of food from Food Lion in Blowing Rock and deliver it to the pantry. All food is weighed and properly put away.
Events: Help represent and share information about Casting Bread at local community events.
